Our story

Hi there, I'm Sebra an artist and the one-woman band behind The Rambling Florist where I preserve the ephemeral moments of nature and capture your treasured memories through floral art. 

I’m smitten with flowers and gardening, and I especially love sharing those joys with you! 

In my small home-studio in Cincinnati, Ohio I dry and hand craft one-of-a-kind framed florals, turning your flowers into art you can cherish long after your special day. I'm dedicated to helping you preserve your memories in a unique and personal way utilizing the natural beauty of flowers.

I believe flowers hold memories, so I'm here to help you hold onto your flowers forever.

PS: In case you were wondering, to ramble is to walk for pleasure, typically without a definite route. Usually in my case, those are long walks to take a million plant photos so I can identify them later or collect little flower jewels along the way.

My designs are inspired by your beautiful bouquets & the organic beauty Nature has so graciously shared with us.

I hold sustainability close to my heart, so I work hard to put that at the forefront of my business. All of our drying and pressings use natural and dye-free methods which takes time, but is totally worth the wait!

All of our plant materials are either grown in my cut flower garden or gathered sustainably from the local environment. 

Compost! Excess plant material, such as stems and leaves that don’t make it into the final design, are industrially composted through our local services. There’s no waste here!

We also love to work with other local florist and flower farmers, and give credit where credit is do! So we’ll ask you to let us know who you’ve worked with so we can share the love. #shoplocal #supportsmallbusiness
